Add Products

Adding products to Peregrine Ship is essential for managing inventory, fulfillment, and order processing. Follow this guide to add products accurately and understand all available options.

Step 1: Navigate to the My Products Tab

  1. Log in to your Peregrine Ship account.

  2. Go to the Products Tab on the dashboard.


Step 2: Click "Add Product"

  1. Select Add Product.

  2. A product form will open, allowing you to fill in key details.


Step 3: Fill in Product Details

Basic Information

  • Product Name: Enter the name of the product (used internally and for inventory tracking).

  • SKU (Stock Keeping Unit): SKUs and barcodes will be automatically generated after successfully creating the product.

  • Product Attributes: Choose the category that best fits your product.

Product Descriptions

  • Short Description: Provide a brief overview of the product.

  • Detailed Description (Optional): Include any additional information such as specifications, materials, or usage guidelines.

Product Images

  • Upload high-quality images of the product. Supported formats: JPG, PNG.

  • You can add multiple images for different views.


Step 4: Add Product Dimensions and Weight

  • Dimensions (Length, Width, Height): Enter the product dimensions.

  • Weight: Specify the weight for shipping purposes.

These details are critical for calculating shipping costs and optimizing packaging.

  • If you don’t know your product weight or dimensions write “1” as a refference and our team will modify upon QC.

⚠️ Please Note: For bundle products which you sell together, you need to create a separate product manually.


Step 6: Set Pricing Information

  • Product Price: Enter the base selling price of the product.

Please Note: If you have different prices per variant make sure you update price per variant in Variants menu.


Step 7: Set Variants (If Applicable)

If your product has multiple variants (e.g., size, color), you can add them:

  1. Select Add Variants.

  2. Define the Option Name (e.g., Size, Color).

  3. Define Option Values (e.g., XS, S, Blue, Red)


⚠️ Step 8: Product Name Management

Proper product naming is essential for inventory tracking, compliance with customs regulations, and efficient order processing. Here’s how Peregrine Ship manages product names:

  • Platform Name: The product name within Peregrine Ship’s platform may be changed to comply with declaration and regulatory requirements. (These changes do not affect the product name displayed in your store.) The platform name also serves as the declaration name.

  • Store Name: The name of the product displayed in your Shopify or other connected stores remains unchanged, ensuring consistency for your customers.

  • Transparency: Changes to the platform name are for internal and regulatory purposes and do not interfere with the store name.


Step 9: Save and Publish the Product

  1. Review all the details you entered.

  2. Click Save to store the product in the system.

  3. Once saved, you can publish the product to update your inventory.


Step 10: Inventory Update Timeline

  • If you have already sent goods to our warehouse, the inventory will be updated within 2-3 hours.

  • For products from the Peregrine Ship Marketplace, inventory is automatically available.

Managing Products

  • Use the Products Tab to view, edit, or delete products.

  • Track inventory updates and monitor stock levels.
