How to Add Balance via Bank Transfer

A step-by-step guide to topping up your Peregrine Ship balance using Wise, Airwallex, or direct bank transfer.

Overview

Peregrine Ship uses a prepaid balance system. Before orders can be processed, you need to have sufficient funds in your account. Bank transfer is the most cost-effective way to add balance — there are no platform fees on our side.

⏱  Processing Time

Same-platform transfers (Wise → Wise or Airwallex → Airwallex) can be processed in as little as 1–3 hours. Other bank transfers typically take 1–2 business days. After transferring, ping your account manager or our support team on WhatsApp so we can process it promptly.

Tip

All three methods are fee-free on our end. You may incur transfer fees from your bank or payment provider — Wise and Airwallex typically offer the best exchange rates for international transfers.

 

Step-by-Step: Add Balance via Bank Transfer

 

Step 1: Choose Your Transfer Method

Option A: Wise  (Recommended)

  1. Go to the Wise payment link:

  1. Enter the amount you want to transfer

  2. Follow the Wise instructions to complete the payment

  3. Take a screenshot of your transfer confirmation

 

Option B: Airwallex

  1. Contact us on WhatsApp to get the Airwallex payment details

  2. Transfer the desired amount via Airwallex

  3. Take a screenshot of your transfer confirmation

 

Option C: Direct Bank Transfer

  1. Message us on WhatsApp to request our bank transfer details

  2. We’ll send you the account information for your region

  3. Transfer the desired amount from your bank

  4. Take a screenshot of your transfer confirmation

 

Step 2: Send Proof of Payment

After completing your transfer, send the proof of payment (screenshot or receipt) to our team via WhatsApp:

What to include in your message:

  1. Screenshot or receipt of the transfer

  2. Amount transferred

  3. Your store name (so we credit the right account)

Step 3: We Add Your Balance

Once we receive your proof of payment:

This process typically takes a few hours during business hours.

 

How to Check Your Balance

After your top-up is processed, verify your balance in the dashboard:

  1. Log in to platform.peregrineship.com

  2. Your balance is displayed on the  top right corner dashboard

  3. Go to Billing to view your full balance history

Important Notes

⚠️  Keep Your Balance Topped Up

If your balance runs out, orders will pause until you top up. We’ll alert you when your balance is getting low, but it’s a good practice to top up proactively.

 

Stripe Alternative

Prefer to pay by credit or debit card? You can add balance instantly via Stripe from your dashboard (Balance → Add Balance → Stripe). Note: Stripe charges a 2.9% + $0.30 processing fee.

 

Refunds

Unused balance can be refunded. Contact our support team via WhatsApp or email to request a refund.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

 

Q: How long does it take for my balance to appear?

A: After you send us the proof of payment, we typically process it within a few hours during business hours (Mon–Sat, 9 AM – 5 PM Beijing Time).

 

Q: Is there a minimum top-up amount?

A: There is no strict minimum, but we recommend topping up enough to cover at least a few orders to avoid interruptions.

 

Q: What currency should I transfer in?

A: Contact us on WhatsApp and we’ll provide the best payment details for your currency and region.

 

Q: What if I sent the transfer but forgot to send proof?

A: No worries! Just send the proof to our WhatsApp whenever you can. We won’t add the balance until we can verify the payment.

 

Q: Can I set up automatic/recurring transfers?

A: We don’t currently support automatic top-ups via bank transfer. You’ll need to initiate each transfer manually and send us the proof. For recurring convenience, consider using Stripe from the dashboard.
